Threaded non-return valves in angle seat valve design
The task of a Y-design non-return valve is to prevent reflux of a liquid or gaseous medium against the flow direction. The advantage of the angle seat non-return valve lies in the high flow volumes that can be guaranteed in the flow direction and the reliable seal in the other direction. The seal is achieved in the valve as a result of the internal spring, which pushes a stainless steel disc against the flow direction onto the valve seat, thereby closing the flow opening. The spring is designed such that it even opens if there is a low pressure in the flow direction, allowing the medium to flow.
