Globe valves are usually used in applications, where a medium needs to be regulated or shut off. Due to its construction, the option regulation cone very precisely regulates the flow of the medium within the pipeline system. The operation of the bellows globe valve happens manually, using a hand wheel. The hand lever or motor moves a spindle unit, on which both the bellows and the cone are fixed. Due to its construction, the globe valve is a very robust and stable valve and can be used with high pressure and high temperatures. Its construction and the available nominal sizes allow for very high KV / KVS values. The high-quality globe valves from NieRuf are often used in power plant construction, gas supply, steam plants or in thermal oil – and vacuum plants. To ensure maximum safety and reliability of our globe valves, every bellows gets leak tested (100% test). This way we make sure every bellows seals reliably and there is no leakage. To ensure that globe valves can be used in a variety of applications and always fit 100%, there are several varieties of the valve, no matter if you need straightway form, angle type or angle seat connection. NieRuf offers globe valves with either flange connection or welding end. The valves come in the nominal sizes DN15 – DN 350. Depending on the required resistance, they can be made of grey cast iron, spheroidal graphite, or carbon steel or high-quality stainless steel. The cone can be built in as a isolation plug (open / close function) or regulation cone. All valves come with a metallic lobed seal. Our wide range of products allows us to deliver valves for pressure ranges from PN16 to PN40 as well as ANSI150 to ANSI300.
