Cryo-safety valve for cryogenic liquids and gases
Special cryo-safety valves serve to protect people and machinery in a low-temperature system, liquid nitrogen system or medical technology, for example for the use of liquid nitrogen or cryogenic oxygen. A system that works with cryogenic media, for example liquid nitrogen or cryogenic oxygen, always has two safety valves that are installed in parallel. These are controlled via a specially tested cryo-ball valve. This is necessary if a cryo-valve does not work or has to be serviced because of the cryogenic operating conditions. A cryo-safety valve must always be ready for use because a low-temperature system cannot simply be switched off. Our cryo-safety valves are made from high quality stainless steel and have a PTFE seal The are available in nominal widths ¼“ – 1“ inches. The setting range extends from 0.2 bar to a maximum of 70 bar. The valves are suitable for temperatures up to minus 200 degrees Celsius.
