The code letters used for safety valves indicate the media for which the specific safety valve is permitted.
Here is an overview of the individual code letters:
- H = suitable for heating systems in accordance with DIN EN 12828 and DIN 4751
- D = suitable for steam
- F = suitable for fluid media
- G = suitable for gaseous media
- W = suitable for water heater systems in accordance with DIN 4753
- F/K/S = for mounted pressure vessels and vehicle tanks with liquid, dust and granular goods
