Electronic limit switch, function and use

Level gauges are meters serve to constantly limit and monitor the level. The meter is installed in a pipe or a vessel via a thread and uses a vibrating fork to measure the level within the system. The limit level is determined by an electronic output signal. The limit switch can perform multiple functions here. Firstly, it can be used for early detection of overfilling of containers and prevent this if applicable. Secondly, it can be used to record when a specific level is exceeded and report this via an electronic signal. This is relevant, for example, in pump systems because in this way dry pumping can be avoided. The overfill meters from NieRuf are suitable for liquids. They are frequently used in the food industry, in chemical applications and in the water supply and wastewater area. Apart from the electronic limit switches, the level can also be monitored using float valves, which NieRuf also sells.
