Compensators are used to absorb pipework expansions and vibrations as well as for compensating installation inaccuracies. They are also suitable for reducing forces in connections. Compensators are able to absorb axial, lateral, angular or a combination of these movements. Compensators are mostly used in engine technology, shipbuilding, the steel industry and in the chemical and petrochemical industries.
