Threaded cap as an end piece for pipes and fittings
A cap is fitted in the pipe construction as an end piece on pipes or fittings. Unlike a plug, the cap has a conical internal thread according to DIN EN 10226-1 instead of an external thread. The pipe cap comprises high quality stainless steel 316 (1.4408) and can be used for an operating pressure of up to 20 bar (at +20°C). The end cap is available in the nominal widths 1/8“ – 4“ inches.
