Yes, we can supply "silicone-free" butterfly valves for an extra charge.
No, our butterfly valves are not permitted for underground installation.
We can confirm our butterfly valves for a vacuum suitability of up to 80%.
Equivalent to 0.2 bar abs => 140 Torr => 80% vacuum. Unfortunately, we cannot test lower pressures. Please specify when ordering, then this will be explicitly checked again.
If possible, the butterfly valves should be installed when open, but the flap disc should not protrude beyond the valve.
The standard dew point lock on the AK03/AK04 butterfly valve prevents condensation from forming on the shaft of the butterfly valve.
These depend on the flap and nominal diameter. The tightening torques and further installation instructions can be found in our operating instructions.
